June 12 – Rotary Zone Director Ken Boyd

You are invited to spend the evening with the Diablo View Rotary Club in Walnut Creek, CA as we welcome Rotary Director Ken Boyd to speak to our club. Our own District Governor Laura Day will be in attendance.

This is an exciting opportunity to hear Ken Boyd, one of 17 Zone Directors in the world, speak about his time in Rotary and experiences. Rotary International has sent him to 38 countries to present the ideas of Rotary. 

The evening will include dinner and a no-host bar for $20 to be paid at the door. Following Ken’s speech will be a reception. Please bring fellow Rotarians and guests. RSVP’s are not required for the evening, however are strongly encouraged.

Ken has served Rotary as a committee member, regional Rotary Foundation coordinator, Council on Legislation representative, president’s representative, and district trainer. As president of his club, he oversaw a project that established paramedic services in Kerman and surrounding communities. He is a recipient of the RI Service Above Self Award and the Foundation’s Distinguished Service Award. He and his wife, Susan, are Major Donors.
